Dog Behaviour Problems

Dog behaviour problems can come about from many different reasons and show in many different forms depending on circumstances and situations.

For example a dog that is reactive to dogs can become that way due to reasons like no socialisation. That is where it has had no or a lack of socialisation with a lot of dogs prior to 20 weeks of age.

Yes socialisation is an ongoing process but the more that is done prior to 20 weeks meeting other dogs has a big difference on how a dog copes while growing up and as an adult.

This problem can also come about from being roughed up by another dog, or even attacked by another dog. It can come about from learning off other dogs it “hangs” around with that may have similar problems and so believes that is the way to act.

If it is an adult dog and it develops this problem it can also come down to medical reasons causing it too.

So as you can see there is many reasons how and why a problem can come about. Though the above was just touching on dog reactivity towards other dogs.
